Uzbekistan’s eastern Ferghana region has delivered $246,000 worth of cherries to South Korea.
The cargo weighing 52,236 kg took off from Ferghana International Airport to Incheon on June 15.
Uzbekistan’s Transport Ministry said that the Ferghana airport had special storage rooms and special vehicles for storing and loading/unloading perishable products, which allowed retaining high quality of agricultural products. (Uzreport/Business World Magazine)
