Mayor of the Ferghana region Khairullo Bozorov has ordered his deputy and the city prosecutor to stop all construction work in the courtyards and cancel the decisions issued by the city administration. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.
All ditches dug for the foundation must be filled in, and the legality of issuing permits for objects whose construction is close to completion will be studied by the prosecutor’s office.
All destroyed playgrounds and sports grounds will be restored, developers will have to plant 100 saplings of trees instead of each felled one, the report says.
Entrepreneurs who have stopped construction will be offered other places to build their facilities. (Uzreport/Business World Magazine)
