The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has decided not to change the discount rate and leave it at the level of 6%, NBU Governor Kyrylo Shevchenko says.
“The Board of the National Bank decided to keep the discount rate unchanged at 6% per annum,” Shevchenko said at a briefing on January 21.
The NBU notes that further monetary policy will be aimed at ensuring an appropriate balance between responding to inflationary risks and supporting economic recovery. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
