During a working trip to Dnipropetrovsk region, President Volodymyr Zelensky inspected the construction of a southern bypass road around the city of Dnipro, which was being carried out within the framework of the Great Construction national program.
Implementation of the project provides for the construction of a road with a total length of 7.1 km from the N-08 Boryspil-Dnipro-Zaporizhzhia (through the city of Kremenchuh)-Mariupol national highway to the Southern Bridge over the Dnipro River.
The Head of the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) Oleksandr Kubrakov noted that the new road section would facilitate traffic flows in the city of Dnipro.
According to Kubrakov, completion of work and putting the facility into operation are scheduled for 2021.
In addition, the President was informed that the construction of a new airport terminal was underway in Dnipro city.
Also, Zelensky got acquainted with the reconstruction of the N-23 Kropyvnytskyi-Kryvyi Rih-Zaporizhzhia highway. In 2020, a 105.3-km section was repaired.
According to the chairman of Ukravtodor, the M-12 highway between the cities of Kropyvnytskyi and Uman is being repaired. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
