The Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine sold insolvent banks’ assets worth UAH 93.95 million last week, the fund’s press service reported.
“Last week (October 5 – October 9), the assets of five banks, which were in the management of the Fund, were sold for a total sum of UAH 93.95 million,” reads the report.
According to the Fund’s press service, UAH 84.37 million was received from the repayment of fund creditors’ claims and UAH 1.38 million was obtained from the sale of main banks’ assets. In addition, UAH 8.07 million was received from the sale of accounts’ receivables, UAH 0.11 million from the sale of securities and UAH 0.02 million from the direct sale of banks’ assets.
In particular, last week the assets of JSC Bank Finance and Credit were sold for UAH 92.85 million, assets of JSC VTB Bank – for UAH 0.45 million and assets of PJSC Bank Cambio – for UAH 0.34 million. Also, last week the sale of assets of JSC Rodovid Bank and PJSC Fidobank took place. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
