Ukraine’s Chief Medical Officer Viktor Liashko has said the government plans to reopen subways in Ukraine at the fourth stage of getting out of the coronavirus-related quarantine set in the country.
“We planned to reopen the subways at the fourth stage, when the number of new unrelated cases of COVID-19 would be less than five per region for 10 consecutive days. This refers to subways in the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipro,” he noted.
According to Liashko, the decision to reopen this type of transportation will entirely depend on the epidemic situation in the country. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
