Ukraine’s national budget in January-March grew by 25% YoY, from UAH 26.2 billion ($966.8 million) to UAH 32.732 billion ($1.21 billion).
The country’s consolidated budget consisting of the national and regional budgets saw a UAH 17.324 billion ($639.3 million) deficit in the first three months of 2020, which was 93% higher than the deficit for the same period in 2019 estimated at UAH 8.97 billion ($331 million), the State Treasury Service of Ukraine said on its website.
