In September-January of 2019-2020 MY, Kazakhstan imported almost 19 thousand tons of soybeans, up 9-fold YoY, declared the Statistics Committee at the Ministry of National Economy (KazStat).
The imports increased, even despite the growth of the harvest of soybeans in Kazakhstan in 2019. The situation developed in terms of the growing interest in the oilseed from both processors and export-oriented companies.
Russia supplied almost 100% of the import volumes of soybeans. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
