Ukraine and Turkey expand scheduled air service between the countries.
“Following the negotiations at the level of the aviation agencies of Ukraine and Turkey in Ankara on February 20, the existing conditions of scheduled air service on routes between Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey were expanded,” the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine informs.
The parties agreed that the air freight transportation would be carried out without restrictions.
The following flight frequency was established for passenger transportation (total weekly flights on each route for designated airlines of each party): Kyiv – Istanbul, 24; Odesa – Istanbul, without restrictions; Lviv – Istanbul, 28; Kherson – Istanbul, 21; Zaporizhzhia – Istanbul, 21; Kharkiv – Istanbul, 28; Vinnytsia – Istanbul, 14; Mykolayiv – Istanbul, 14; Ivano-Frankivsk – Istanbul, 14; Dnipro, Chernivtsi, Sevastopol – Istanbul, 7 on each route; Donetsk, Simferopol – Istanbul, without restrictions; Kyiv – Izmir, 21; Kyiv – Dalaman, 10; Kyiv – Ankara, without restrictions.
In addition, it was agreed to designate Adana city as a destination for scheduled flights to the Republic of Turkey. Thus, the destinations in the territory of Ukraine are: Kyiv, Odesa, Kherson, Mykolayiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipro, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Simferopol and Sevastopol; in the territory of Turkey: Istanbul, Ankara, Dalaman, Izmir, Bodrum, Bursa and Adana.
