Ukraine is ready to liberalize road transportation with Turkey at the beginning of 2020, Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Krykliy said during a meeting with Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Cahit Turhan, the press service of the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry reported.
“The Ukrainian side is ready to amend the agreement on international road transport and to liberalize road transport between Ukraine and Turkey as early as the beginning of 2020,” Krykliy noted.
During the meeting, the parties also noted a Ukrainian-Turkish dialogue on cooperation in maritime search and rescue, discussed the prospects for the development of combined transport between the two countries, and the constructive cooperation in the field of air service, which resulted in a steady increase in passenger traffic between Ukraine and Turkey.
The minister added that Ukraine was open to investors and interested in investing in the transport industry, in particular, a concession for ports, airports, railway stations and roads was planned in the near future. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
