The Turkish company MNG will build a 5 MW solar power plant in Zhytomyr region, the press service of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration reports.
“Chairman of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration Vitaliy Bunechko has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Turkish company MNG on the construction of a solar power plant with a capacity of 5 megawatts in Bronykivska united territorial community, Zhytomyr region,” the report says.
Within the framework of the construction project, the investor plans to create about 20 new jobs, as well as to develop the social sector and to build, rebuild and expand infrastructure facilities in Bronykivska united territorial community.
The construction of the solar power plant will begin in April 2020. It will cost about $5 million. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
