Ukrainians in October bought $1.505 billion in cash via the banking system, which was $91.5 million up on the amount of foreign currency they sold.
The excess was reported after in September forex cash sales were higher than purchases, the National Bank of Ukraine said on its website.
In 10 months forex sales by households via banks remained higher than forex purchases, with $53.7 million in excess. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
