In January-May Ukraine exported frozen fish to the European Union countries to the tune of $231,700.
“Over the first five months of 2019, 178,000 tons of Ukrainian frozen fish were delivered to the foreign markets to the tune of $498,000. Thus, 46% of all Ukrainian frozen fish exports (in monetary terms) went to the European countries ($231,700),” the press service of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine reports.
Ukrainian frozen fish exports to the CIS countries totaled $160,000, and to the Asian countries – $103,400.
The major importers of Ukrainian frozen fish were Moldova (65.2 tons to the tune of $159,500), Hungary (42.2 tons, $147,000), Turkey (13.1 tons, $52,600), Georgia (13.6 tons, $49,700), Germany (25.2 tons, $39,900), Poland (13.1 tons, $24,400) and Romania (3.5 tons, $18,500).
