In 2018, the commodity turnover between Italy and Ukraine totaled 4.47 billion, up by 14% YoY, declared the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Stepan Kubiv.
More than 14 thousand Ukrainian companies export their products to the European Union. Also, the trend created additional tools for the diversified cooperation, for example, through the possibilities of the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Convention or cooperation within frames of the Chinese initiative “One belt, One road”. In the reporting projects, as well as other ones, Ukraine and Italy have the large-scale logistical and trading opportunities and prospects, said Kubiv.
He added that Ukraine would strengthen its cooperation rates with Italy in the sphere of agricultural machinery and crop processing industry. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
