The Chinese company Skywell will launch the production of electric buses in Ukraine, the company’s press service reports on Facebook.
“Today we have met honored guests from China – specialists in the development of electric bus technologies. We discussed the possibility and technologies of organizing SKD assembly of the electric buses Skywell in Ukraine. So we will produce the electric buses Skywell in Ukraine,” reads the statement.
According to the Ukrainian Representative Office of Skywell, there is no specific information yet. The negotiations are underway with various parties and participants. Timing, technology and processes are being determined.
In addition, Skywell said that “much will depend on the new president”. The company also reported that the Chinese side was ready to become a co-founder of the enterprise for the production of electric buses in Ukraine. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
