At least 25 private companies sell electricity in Kyrgyzstan, the State Agency for Regulation of Fuel and Energy Complex and Subsoil Use reported.
An average set tariff is 181.6 tyiyns per kilowatt-hour. On average, private companies buy electricity from Electric Stations OJSC at 101.43 tyiyns per kilowatt-hour.
The tariff for non-domestic consumers is 223.54 tyiyns, for household consumers – 118.62 tyiyns, and for pumping stations – 78.54 tyiyns per kilowatt-hour.
Private distribution companies have licenses for sale of electricity for an unlimited period. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
