Prices of vegetables comprising the so-called borsch kit have decreased in Ukraine.
As of early March, the cost of most winter vegetables is lower than last year. Prices for carrots on wholesale markets fell by 6%, beets by 15%, and potatoes by almost 20% over the last week of February.
However, the prices of onions and cabbage remain high. They are sold twice as expensive as in 2018. (UNIAN/Business World Magazine)
