In 8 months of 2018 trade turnover with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union decreased by 3.4% YoY and amounted to $1,481 billion, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Zhenish Razakov declared at a meeting of Respublika-Ata Jurt parliamentary faction.
According to him, export to the EEU countries increased by 5.4% and amounted to $387 million, while import fell by 6%.
“A considerable change is noticeable in the light industry. This is due to the fact that Russia and Kazakhstan are the main consumers of local products of garment workers,” said Zhenish Razakov. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
