Natural gas reserves in Ukrainian underground storage facilities (USFs) have increased by 55.4%, or by 4.12 billion cubic meters since the gas injection season started on April 9, to 11.554 billion cubic meters.
Some 366.55 million cubic meters of gas was injected into the USFs on July 1-7, according to the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz. Natural gas reserves in Ukraine’s USFs as of July 7, were estimated at 11.554 billion cubic meters, down by 2.73% YoY, or by 323.89 million cubic meters.
Ukrainian gas imports totaled 250.8 million cubic meters on July 1-7, including 133.276 million cubic meters via Slovakia, 101.07 million cubic meters via Hungary, and 17.452 million cubic meters via Poland. Domestic gas output stood at 397.92 billion cubic meters, while gas transit shipments totaled 1.63 billion cubic meters, it said. The country’s USFs are filled by 37.33% as of July 9.
