The German federal company Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) mbH launches a new project to support the Energy Efficiency Fund of Ukraine, Vice Prime Minister-Minister for Regional Development, Construction and Housing Hennadiy Zubko wrote on his Facebook page.
“We continue to unite international partners around the energy efficiency reform and the launch of the Energy Efficiency Fund. I welcome the initiative of our international partners from GIZ to launch a new project to support the Energy Efficiency Fund,” Zubko wrote.
He also said that it was agreed on various directions of cooperation within the project, in particular on the education of energy auditors.
“We work in two directions. In the framework of the Memorandum, signed by the Regional Development Ministry with 14 higher educational establishments on the education of energy auditors – we have to develop an education program for energy auditors. The second direction is trainings, in particular in the regions,” Zubko said.
He also added that among other directions of cooperation were the support for subsidy reform and a public communication campaign for co-owners of multi-apartment houses regarding the program and work of the Fund. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
