In January-May the Belarusian automaker BelAZ increased its exports by almost 58.9% in comparison with the same period a year before, the company reported.
In January-May the company exported 96% of the output. The growth of supplies to Russia went up by 46.4%, and to the CIS countries (excluding Russia) – 3.3-fold. The leading consumers of Belarusian quarry equipment among the CIS countries are Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Since the start of the year, the company’s products have been delivered to 26 countries, including 18 non-CIS states. For the first time, BelAZ has shipped its products to Bangladesh.
“In May the company sold 116 vehicles, which is BelAZ’s monthly record high achievement over the part 3.5 years. In January-May among the bestsellers were haul trucks with a carrying capacity of 110-130 tons (40% of the total shipments), those with a carrying capacity of 220-240 tons (18%) and 45 tons (11%),” the company said.
The public joint-stock company BelAZ is the world’s top manufacturer of haul trucks with a large and extremely large carrying capacity as well as other heavy transport equipment used in mining industry and civil engineering industry.
