The parliamentary committee on industrial policy and entrepreneurship has supported some governmental bills in the sphere of trade protection, the Economic Development and Trade Ministry reports.
“On May 23 the Verkhovna Rada committee on industrial policy and entrepreneurship supported a number of draft laws on trade protection approved by the government in February 2010. The decision was unanimously adopted,” reads the report.
According to Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska, the bills will protect Ukrainian producers, in particular from dumping, subsidized and growing imports. At the same time, the ministry assured that the protection would be carried out via modern and transparent mechanisms. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
