The frequency of trains running on the Baku-Kiev railway route can be increased, Evgeny Kravtsov, acting chairman of the board of the Ukrainian Railways JSC, wrote on his Facebook page.
He said that the issue could be considered in case of higher demand.
“We hope that passengers will appreciate the convenience of this route. If the demand grows, we will consider possibility of increasing the frequency of trains running to the capital of Azerbaijan,” he wrote.
Previously it was reported that the route of the passenger train Baku-Kharkov No. 369-370 would be extended to the “Kiev-Passajirskaya” station from April 21.
Thus, the Baku-Kharkov train will become the Baku-Kiev train from April 21. The train will pass Kharkov, Poltava, Mirgorod and Lubny cities of Ukraine.
The train will leave from Baku once a week, on Thursday at 01:35, and arrive in Kiev on Monday at 11:46. On the same day, at 14:37, the train will return back.
The train will arrive in Baku on Thursday at 04:10. All local time. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
