The trade turnover between Ukraine and the Republic of Lithuania exceeded $1 billion in 2017, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman wrote on Twitter.
“We are greeting the Prime Minister of Lithuania in the House of Government. Saulius Skvernelis is on a visit to Ukraine. We are talking about political and economic cooperation. Our mutual trade exceeds $1 billion, and our common logistics capabilities can become a point of further growth of our relations,” Groysman said.
According to him, Vilnius is an active political ally and an important economic partner of Kyiv in the Baltic region.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of logistics opportunities, including within the framework of the Viking container train project, which connects the Baltic and Black sea regions. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
