Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air is launching a new direct flight that will connect Georgia to Romania.
Starting from July 3 Wizz Air will launch flights between Georgia’s western city of Kutaisi and Romania’s capital of Bucharest, the airline company announced.
Flights will be performed three times in a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Tickets for the new route are already on sale starting from EUR 25.51.
Recently Wizz Air has added new routes from Kutaisi International Airport to Vienna, Riga, Athens, Rome, Paris, Barcelona and Prague.
WizzAir, one of the largest low-cost airlines in Europe, launched flights from Kutaisi International Airport after it opened its first Caucasian base in September 2016.
Opening the airline base at Georgia’s second largest airport was expected to increase passenger flow in and out of the country, as the airline offered 17 new cheap flight destinations to 12 European cities. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
