Uzbekistan Airways, the flag carrier of Uzbekistan, has introduced the second frequency of direct flights on the route Tashkent – New York – Tashkent.
The flights will be performed starting from April 5 according to the following schedule (local time):
Thursday: HY 101 Tashkent 05:45 – New York 10:00
Thursday: HY 102 New York 12:45 – Tashkent 09:25 (+1)
Furthermore, Uzbekistan Airways increases regular direct flights to New York from May 29 to September 17 up to three weekly flights, according to the following schedule (local time):
Tuesday: HY-101 Tashkent 05:45 – New York 10:00
Tuesday: HY-102 New York 12:45 – Tashkent 09:25 (+1)
The flights will be operated on modern Boeing 787 “Dreamliner” aircrafts.
Presently, Uzbekistan Airways operates weekly direct flights to New York on Sundays.
Uzbekistan Airways is wholly owned by the state and has 11 airports located on the territory of Uzbekistan, six of which are international. The company has representative offices in 25 countries.
During the first half of 2017, the Uzbek company transported 1.227 million passengers, which provided an increase of 4.3% as compared to the same period of 2016.
The company’s aircraft implemented 11,180 flights in the period that is by 489 flights more than in the first half of 2016. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
