Turkmenistan’s purchasing centers received more than 1 million tons of raw cotton, said the country’s Ministry of Agriculture.
Cotton is a significant export product of Turkmenistan and is in demand by dozens of modern companies of the country’s dynamically developing textile industry.
It is planned to produce 1,050,000 tons of cotton in Turkmenistan in 2017. Harvesting campaign is currently underway in the country. (AzerNews/Business World Magazine)
