Over the month, Kyrgyzstan’s national debt grew by $97.71 million. Thus, since the beginning of the year, it has increased by $313.97 million, the Ministry of Finance reported.
As of August 31, the state debt was $4,378.71 billion, or 300,764.62 billion soms. $3,984.54 billion (273,690.08 billion soms) is the country’s external debt, and $394.17 million (27.74.54 billion soms) is internal one.
Since the beginning of the year, the national debt has been growing. If on December 31, 2016 it was $4,065 billion, now it’s $4,378.71 billion. At the same time, the country owes the most to the Export-Import Bank of China – $1,639.18 billion (41.1% of the external debt). (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
