The government of Ukraine has provided in the draft state budget for next year UAH 44 billion (about $1.68 billion) for the construction and repair of roads and additional UAH 4 billion (about $150 million) for two large-scale projects, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said.
“This year, we have invested UAH 30 billion in the repair and reconstruction of roads in Ukraine. Next year, we will invest UAH 48 billion. UAH 4 billion will be allocated for the modernization of the roads Lviv-Ternopil-Khmelnytsky-Vinnytsia-Uman-Odessa-Mykolayiv-Kherson and Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhansky. These are two large-scale infrastructure projects. That is, a total of UAH 48 billion will be allocated for road repairs,” Groysman said.
The Ukrainian PM once again noted that the road construction was a priority for the government. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
