No plans have been made to introduce new taxes in Belarus in 2018, Belarusian Tax and Duties Minister Sergei Nalivaiko declared.
According to the source, the Belarusian Tax and Duties Ministry abides by the effective moratorium on new taxes and on raising tax rates. There are no plans to introduce new taxes in 2018. Tax rates will not be raised either. However, tax rates in Belarusian rubles will be indexed, specified the minister.
In January-May Belarus’ consolidated budget received Br9 billion, with the central state budget getting Br3.9 billion and municipal budgets getting Br5.1 billion. The growth rate of revenues of the consolidated budget totaled 108.1% in current prices (up by Br0.7 billion). The central state budget demonstrated a revenue growth rate of 107% (up by Br0.3 billion) while municipal budgets demonstrated 109% (up by Br0.4 billion). (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
