As of July 3, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 1.076 million tons of early grains and pulses throughout the areas of 337 thousand ha, or 4% of the plan. The average yield totaled 3.19 ton/ha, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine declared.
In particular, agrarians harvested wheat throughout 74 thousand ha. The production volumes totaled 218 thousand tons, with the yield of 2.93 ton/ha. Ukraine harvested 787 thousand tons of barley throughout 234 thousand ha, with the yield of 3.36 ton/ha.
Also, Ukrainian agrarians produced 71 thousand tons of peas. The average yield totaled 2.47 ton/ha, and the harvested areas – 29 thousand ha.
In addition, the country started harvesting rapeseed. As of July 3, agrarians harvested 16 thousand tons of the oilseed throughout 8 thousand ha, with the average yield of 1.95 ton/ha. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
