Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Kistion says that the Cabinet of Ministers has decided to allocate UAH 800 million for the construction of Lviv – Odesa – Mykolaiv highway.
Kistion noted that the government approved amendments to the 2017 national budget under which additional UAH 800 million would be allocated for major repairs of roads.
According to the deputy prime minister, the funds will be used to build a transport artery of Ukraine – Lviv – Ternopil – Khmelnitsky – Vinnytsia – Uman – Odessa – Mykolaiv highway.
“This is a strategically important project for the country, especially in the context of growing trade turnover with Europe, and taking into account that this road leads to the ports of Ukraine,” Kistion stressed. (Ukrinform/Business World Magazine)
