The public joint-stock company Kyivenergo has asked the National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) to review the investment program of the company for 2017 and add UAH 26.4 million (VAT included) spent on the provision of stable power supply to the Eurovision 2017 contest facilities.
According to the company, all steps related to the Eurovision were made under a separate order of the Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Kistion.
In particular, Kyivenergo reconstructed the 10 kV Livoberezhna substation – distributing point 414 underground power cable line for UAH 19.8 million (VAT included).
The 10 kV distributing point 437 – distributing point 414 underground power cable line was built for UAH 4.206 million (VAT included) and other works were carried out.
Kyivenergo operates almost all energy facilities located in the capital, except for Darnytsia combined heat and power plant. DTEK owns 72.4% of Kyivenergo. Another 25% plus one share stake in the company belong to the state. (Interfax-Ukraine/Business World Magazine)
