On June 16, Latvian airBaltic airline received the fifth Bombardier CS300 aircraft. By the end of 2017, airBaltic is planning to have eight CS300 aircraft.
The fifth airBaltic CS300 aircraft, registered as YL-CSE, arrived in Riga on June 16. The flight time was 7 hours and 56 minutes and the aircraft covered 6419 km non-stop distance between the Canadian and Latvian airports.
“Next week airBaltic will exhibit one of its Bombardier CS300 aircraft at the world’s largest and oldest aircraft exhibition – Paris Air Show,” airBaltic representative reported.
Thus far, airBaltic has completed more than 1,552 flights and flown over 3,892 block hours with the brand new Bombardier CS300 aircraft.
By the end of 2019 airBaltic is planning to have 20 Bombardier CS300 aircraft on its fleet. With an average jet fleet age of only 2 years, airBaltic, as an all-Bombardier operator, will have one of the youngest jet fleets in Europe.
