Belarus is ready to supply Tatarstan with electric buses, Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov said as he met with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on May 25.
“Electric buses are being tested on Minsk streets today. It is a new type of transport for the CIS and we hope for a success of the project,” Andrei Kobyakov noted.
“Belarusian equipment has already earned respect in Tatarstan. We would like to keep this area of cooperation afloat,” the prime minister added.
Belarusian producers are also ready to increase supplies of forestry equipment. Tatarstan that has already tested it is fully satisfied with its technical and economic performance and aftersales service.
Belarus hopes to be invited into Tatarstan’s federal and regional programs in the areas of the agro-industrial complex, construction, and major overhaul of the housing.
“I think that we will be implementing these projects as part of the action plan on the development of cooperation between Belarus and Tatarstan for 2017-2020,” Andrei Kobyakov said. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
