In March the index of consumer prices for goods and services totaled 100.3% as against February 2017 and 101.7% as against December 2016, the National Statistics Committee of Belarus reported.
In March the basic index of consumer prices that disregards changes of prices for the commodities and services affected by administrative and seasonal factors reached 100.1% as against February 2017 and 100.9% as against December 2016. Food prices rose by 0.1% in comparison with February and increased by 7.5% from March 2016. Non-food prices went up by 0.3% and 4% respectively. The index of prices for and tariffs on paid services totaled 101.2% as against February and 107.7% as against March 2016. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
