The public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydobuvannia on March 4, reached daily gas production of 42 million cubic meters, according to the data from the public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz.
If on March 1, the company produced 41.131 million cubic meters of gas, on March 2 – 41.088 million cubic meters, March 3 – 41.577 million cubic meters, the company produced 42.006 million cubic meters on March 4.
The press service of Ukrgazvydobuvannia said that growth of gas production in the short period of time was thanks to the introduction of a new 5,500 meter well in Kharkiv region with the production rate of 1 million cubic meters a day.
“The company is moving to the 20/20 goal. Development of new and existing fields is the key of the strategy for boosting production of Ukrgazvydobuvannia. Securing energy independence for the company is a top priority,” Ukrgazvydobuvannia Board Chairman Oleh Prokhorenko said.
Since June 2016, Ukrtransgaz has started publishing daily information for gas production. Ukrgazvydobuvannia’s production grew from 39.2 million cubic meters to 42 million cubic meters a day.
