Bank Globus (Kyiv) does not have money of individuals received from officials of the National Bank for Development (VBR) being under liquidation on the bank’s accounts, bank Globus said on its website.
Bank Globus received neither from the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine nor from courts the rulings or resolutions on the arrest of the funds received from VBR bank that could be linked to the criminal case opened on September 15, 2014.
All transactions in the bank are monitored by the relevant public agencies in line with Ukrainian law.
As reported, the State Financial Monitoring Service has established the fact of an attempt to remove over UAH 100 million from insolvent VBR.
Bank Globus was registered in 2007. The main shareholder of the bank is Olena Silniahina indirectly through Ukrainian Media Technologies LLC (100%).
The bank ranked 45th among 93 operating banks as of January 1, in terms of total assets worth UAH 1.499 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
