As of today, there are only 12,000 tons of petroleum products out of 42,000 required for spring fieldwork, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at a cabinet meeting.
According to him, readiness for spring work is not at an adequate level.
Readiness of agricultural machinery comprises only 70%. This figure reaches 52% in Jalal-Abad region and 55% in Issyk-Kul region
There is also insufficient provision with seeds.
“In Naryn region, the farmers are provided with seeds at 77%, in Talas and Batken regions – at 80%. And only in Osh and Issyk-Kul regions – at 100%,” the Prime Minister said. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
