Profit of gold refinery of Kyrgyzaltyn JSC in Kara-Balta on the results of 2016 has grown by half. Profit of the refinery in 2016 amounted to 132.5 million soms, up by 84.1 million soms YoY.
In 2012-2015, profit of the gold refinery did not exceed 80 million soms. Volume of refinery’s output also increased by 25.4%.
Production growth is partially connected with the program of the National Bank for the production of gold bullions.
Since May 7, 2015 till November 2016, the National Bank has sold 122 kg of gold valued at 340 million soms.
The heaviest bullions weighing 100 grams are produced at the refinery. They are the most popular among buyers. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
