The first Azerbaijani shop selling the country’s national products will open in Belarus in 2017, said Gennady Ahramovich, ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan.
“Opening of Azerbaijani trading houses in Belarus is mulled actively. I think we can consider the supplies of Azerbaijani tobacco, cotton, wine, cognac and other products”, said Ahramovich.
The ambassador noted that the Belarusian side had presented to Azerbaijan a number of facilities where such shops could be opened.
“More than 40 contracts for the supply of Azerbaijani products have already been signed. There are no obstacles from our side, the matter depends on the Azerbaijani side”, Ahramovich said.
He reminded that five shops selling goods of Belarusian producers had already been opened in Baku. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
