PJSC “Turboatom” and PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo” signed contract UHE/TKNV/C/2-13 “Plant design, Supply and Installation; Rehabilitation of two Blocks (7 hydraulic plants) at Kanev HPP”.
Project is financed at the expense of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Implementation of the contract is considered for five years.
“Turboatom” is the general contractor for “turnkey” project. The enterprise will supply 7 hydraulic turbines, 7 generators, 8 sets of auxiliary systems, implement dismantling, installation, precommissioning and commissioning. “Turboatom” will also develop documentation, conduct model tests and manufacture hydraulic turbines PL 7 15-GC-600 for rehabilitation of Kanev HPP.
During rehabilitation of hydroelectric power plant new high-performance adjustable blade runners with the diameter of 6 m will be installed with upgraded blade system, as well as distributor, equipped with new guide vanes with improved profile.
Contract was signed under the results of tender, in which PJSC “Turboatom” with partners SE “Plant “Electrotyazhmash” and consortium “RMA Ukrgidroenergobud” won against competitors – the German consortium Andritz Hydro and Chinese company Power China-Nari in ratio of “price and quality”.
After rehabilitation the capacity of hydraulic plant will increase from 19.2 MW to 23 MW, its efficiency, reliability and durability of turbine will also be improved. Kanev HPP has 24 hydraulic turbines manufactured by PJSC “Turboatom” installed. As of today 14 turbines are commissioned. (Energyland/Business World Magazine)
