Trade restrictions imposed by Moldova to protect the domestic market in Maymaking obstacles for Ukrainian exports will be annulled from January 1, 2017, First Deputy Prime Minister and Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv has said with the reference to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Moldova Octavian Calmac.
“Moldova has confirmed that the country would not expand the quotas from January 1, 2017”, Kubiv said on Facebook from Chisinau where he jointly with Calmac held a meeting of the intergovernmental Ukraine-Moldova mixed commission for trade and economic cooperation.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade – Ukraine’s Trade Representative Natalia Mykolska who participated in the meeting said that the sides were working on deepening the dialog between businesses of the two countries in the non-traditional spheres of exports – services and IT.
