According to regional agricultural departments, as of November 1, Kazakhstan completed the harvesting campaign of grains. Agrarians produced 23.68 million tons of grains. The average yield totaled 1.54 ton/ha, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan declared.
As of the reporting date, agricultural enterprises harvested grains throughout 15.353 million ha, or 100% of the planned areas.
In the current year, the planted areas of agricultural crops in Kazakhstan totaled nearly 21.7 million ha, up by 445.1 thousand ha YoY. At the same time, grain crops areas totaled 15.4 million ha, oilseeds – 2 million ha. In particular, wheat planted areas reached 12.2 million ha (up by 441.4 thousand ha), forage crops – 4 million ha (up by 254.4 thousand ha) cotton seed – 109.3 million ha (up by 10.1 thousand ha), and sugar beet – 12.1 thousand ha (up by 2.7 thousand ha).
