As of October 1, agricultural enterprises and grain storage and processing enterprises of Ukraine stocked 24.87 million tons of grains and sunflower seed, down by 897 thousand tons YoY, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine declared.
In particular, the carry-over stocks of wheat reached 14.477 million tons, corn for grain – 3.99 million tons, barley – 3.43 million tons, rye – 185 thousand tons, and sunflower seed – 5.851 million tons (down by 639 thousand tons YoY).
According to the announcement, agrarian companies stored 15.563 million tons of grains. And the grain storage and processing enterprises stored 9.306 million tons of grains. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
