In January-September the seaports of Russia increased the shipment volumes of grains by 2.1% YoY to 24.3 million tons, the Association of Sea Commercial Ports of the Russian Federation announced.
The general cargo turnover in the Russian seaports grew by 5.7% YoY and totaled 531.7 million tons.
According to the announcement, the export cargo shipment reached 420.4 million tons, up by 5.2% YoY, imports – 23.4 million tons (down by 6.1%), transit – 36.3 million tons (up by 0.5%), coastal freight – 51.6 million tons (up by 21.4%). (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
