In the first half of 2016, the United States invested $710 million in Ukraine’s economy, the Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry reported on its Facebook page.
“The United States is one of Ukraine’s most important partners, and relations between the countries become even stronger. The total trade turnover has come to $1.2 billion over seven months of 2016, up by 6% YoY”, the ministry said in the report, adding that 87 U.S. technical assistance projects worth about $1.3 billion were being implemented in Ukraine.
