In January-August the joint index of costs for production of agricultural commodities in Ukraine (without the Crimea) increased by 12.4% YoY, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine informed.
In particular, the costs for plant growing commodities production went up by 9.1% YoY, and animal commodities – by 20.9%.
According to the statistics data, in August the costs of agricultural production decreased by 3.4% YoY.
Also, the cost index for materials and equipment of industrial origin used in agriculture grew by 0.5% YoY. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
