The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has agreed with grain exporters on the annex to the Memorandum of understanding for 2016/2017 MY. The parties will sign the document in the nearest future.
According to the annex to the document (revised on September 22), the forecast export volumes of wheat and meslin mixture in the current season total 16.5 million tons, including 10.1 million tons of milling grains (1-5 grades) and 6.4 million tons of non-milling grains (6-grade and non-grade). The approximate volumes of rye exports total 1 thousand tons, and barley – 5.6 million tons.
It should be noted that according to the forecast of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the general volumes of grain exports in the current MY will reach 40.241 million tons. (APK-Inform/Business World Magazine)
