Belarus’ proceeds from potash exports fell by 38.9% YoY in January-July to $1.057 billion, Belarus’ National Statistics Committee (Belstat) said in an official report.
Potash export proceeds reduced as a result of a 21.4% decrease in the physical volume of Belarusian potash supplies to 2.784 million tons (in terms of 100% potassium chloride).
As previously reported, Belarus exported 5.553 million tons of potash fertilizers (in terms of 100% potassium chloride) in 2015, down by 3% YoY. In value terms, potash exports reduced by 3% to $2.889 billion. (Prime-TASS/Business World Magazine)
